Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Clemson Undergraduate Student Government places a high value on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Find out more about our work and further resources below.

The Social Justice Council shall ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion remains a top priority of the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government. The Council shall function as a collaborative entity between members and the three branches of the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government to advance the well-being, sense of belonging, needs, and interests of historically and institutionally marginalized undergraduate students. The Council shall advance its mission by:

  1. Advising the branches, committees, and officers within the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government.

  2. Planning and hosting programming for the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government, the undergraduate student body, faculty, staff, and community members.

  3. Providing educational opportunities for the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government, the undergraduate student body, faculty, staff, and community members.

  4. Assisting in recruitment efforts meant to open the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government to all students.
